Basic connection no intercooler
Non Intercooled Boostvalve install

The simplest way to connect the Boostvalve to your turbo is to connect a hose from the turbo compressor to the inlet of the Boostvalve and then from the Boostvalve's outlet connect to the waste-gate actuator

Installation for a typical intercooled car
Boostvalve SVO Mustang and TC install

We recommend using a boost pressure source away from the turbo compressor on intercooled cars. Either tap into a port on the vacuum (boost) tree, a port on the intake manifold or boost/vac. line going to the bypass (or blow-off) valve.  Any un-restricted pressure source on the cold side of the intercooler should be fine.

12V Solenoid controlled two stage boost controller.

The difference between using one Boostvalve and two.
2-Stage Boostvalve Comparison

Power to the solenoid controls the airflow. When switch is off, air is blocked from flowing through the left hand port of the solenoid (RED in either diagram) and flows through the right hand port of the solenoid and then goes to the waste gate. As shown in the GREEN flow path the Boostvalve is not used and the system is returned to stock. When using 2 Boostvalves as in the diagram with the YELLOW flow path this Boostvalve can be set for a low boost preset. By turning on the switch the high boost flow path is on and low side is blocked.
